Passionately Pink Day in the Law Library

photo (6)Nancy Betancourt, the law library’s acquisition assistant, is pictured left, helping the Charleston School of Law celebrate Passionately Pink Day.  Passionately Pink is a breast cancer awareness fundraiser that is sponsored by the following law student organizations: Black Law Students Association, Phi Alpha Delta, Phi Delta Phi, Women in Law, Children’s Advocacy and Family Law, Law Democrats, and the Latino Law Students Association.    To support the cause, students asked faculty and staff to wear crazy pink outfits so that they could then “pay money to vote on your favorite passionately pink dressed professor” or staff member.   In the library, we like Nancy’s crazy pink outfit and will be donating our money and vote for her.  Please do join the students for this fundraiser at noon in B333 at 385 Meeting St.  Elesa Green will be speaking.  Proceeds will benefit the Franklin C. Fetter Family Health Center .  Many thanks to Nancy for capturing the spirit of the event!
