HeinOnline Partners with FastCase

heinonlinefastcaseHeinOnline recently partnered with Fastcase to include case coverage for Hein’s core subscriptions.

What coverage is provided?  United States Supreme Court decisions from 1754 onwards are available while access to decisions from all federal circuit and district courts is provided from 1924 onwards.  Tax and bankruptcy case coverage is also provided.  Decisions from all 50 states’ supreme courts are also available; dates of coverage vary with coverage beginning in the 1800s for some states and starting in 1950 for others.

How can it be accessed?  Presently FastCase provides access in two ways:   hyper-links or citations.  HeinOnline calls its hyper-links “inline linking” and reflects the reality that documents with case citations within Hein’s core collection are hyperlinked to cases in FastCase.  If the researcher knows a case citation, citation searching, via a FastCase tab on HeinOnline, is also possible.

Happy searching!
