The library recently acquired access to Law360 via our Lexis Advance subscription. Your can access Law360 while on campus only since it is IP authenticated.
What is Law360 and why should you be interested? Law360 is a prefilled legal news reader, created by Portfolio Media and now owned by Lexis. It allows you to search for the latest legal news articles and expert legal analysis via keyword or by one of several subject topics such as aerospace, asset management, banking, bankruptcy, class action, corporate, health, insurance, legal industry, mergers and acquisitions, products liability, securities, tax, technology and white-collar. An advanced search allows you to search by keyword with date limitations and also provides access to active federal civil court filings, litigation and reports for industries, company and law firm directories, and news and analysis regarding federal government agencies. It is a current awareness resource that is full of information for every interest.
It also has a legal jobs directory at the bottom of the page. In order to use this, you will need to register, using your Charleston School of Law email address. After registering, you can then browse jobs by subject area or search for jobs by location or job title.
Stop by the library while on campus and check it out here.
