South Carolina Women Lawyers in the News: Two Steps Forward…

twostepsforwardinthecarolinasThe National Law Journal profiles well-known profile female attorneys in North and South Carolina today in an article, Two Steps Forward.  Charleston’s Elaine Fowler of Turner Padget and Alice Paylor of Rosen Hagood are interviewed along with Columbia’s Pamela Roberts of Bowman & Brooke and South Carolina Supreme Court Justice, Jean Hoefer Toal.  Attending law school and practicing long before women in the legal profession became more usual, these women discuss some of the difficulties and obstacles that they faced and overcame in their legal careers.  Check out their profiles and comments here.
