Need to Update Your WestlawNext OnePass Password

westlawonepassupdate  WestlawNext is requiring everyone to update their WestlawNext password.  While the user name does not have to be updated, the password must be updated if it has not been changed since October 7, 2014.

The password has to be 8 characters and include an upper case letter, lower case letter, and number.  An example is Lbutler182015.

You can be proactive and update the password now if you prefer.  To do this, open up your Internet browser to http://lawschool.westlaw.com/.  In the upper left hand corner of the screen, you will see an Update link.  Click on this link.  It will then take you to a screen that says Manage OnePass Profile.  Click on this and change your password.

Westlaw has not given a final date as to when passwords must be changed.  However, if you log on and get a prompt to change your password, you’ll need to then change it.  Westlaw suggests that you use the Forgot My Password link to handle this change and follow those prompts.

If you have issues with this process, please contact me, Professor Melissa Strickland or our Westlaw representative, Sue Moore.  Thanks!
