Summer and Post-Graduate Westlaw, Lexis and Bloomberg Law access

Student access to various legal research databases over the summer may be limited. To maintain access, please review the following information:

BLOOMBERG LAW

Bloomberg Law allows unlimited use over the summer for any purpose. For May graduates, if you sign up for Bloomberg by the end of April, you will be given access for six months after you graduate, until November.

LEXIS ADVANCE

Lexis Advance is also allowing unlimited access over the summer for any purposes. May graduates will be given the same access through the bar exam. Graduates may extend that access further by contacting Carmela Orsini at carmela.orsini@lexisnexis.com for further details.

WESTLAW

Westlaw provides 40 hours per month access to all students for the months of June and July.

If you need more than 40 hours per month access and are participating in:
• Summer law school classes
• Law Review and Journal work
• Moot Court
• Projects for professor
• Unpaid, non-profit, public interest internship/externship or pro bono work required for graduation

You may receive unlimited access to Westlaw for the summer for academic purposes only by going to https://lawschool.westlaw.com/registration/summerextension.aspx and filling out the form there.

May graduates will have access to Westlaw through May 31, 2015. They may extend their Westlaw access for up to 60 hours of use per month through November by going to http://westlawhub.com/graduatesurvey/main/GraduateSurvey.aspx and completing the form and survey there.

If you have any questions about any of this, or problems with these services, please let me know.
