Jump Start Your Summer Clerkship

index_photo  Join library staff for a workshop, Jump Start Your Summer Clerkship, on Wednesday, June 3rd, at noon in Mary 101A/B to refresh, update and enhance your research skills for summer employment.  It is a brown bag event that will last approximately an hour or less.  During that time, we’ll talk about:

1)  approaching a research problem;

2) using secondary resources;

3)  ferreting out and using cost-effective primary legal research resources such as FastCase, Google Scholar, and FDsys;

4) reviewing the library’s databases and Internet portal;

5) creating Bloomberg, Google, Lexis Advance and WestlawNext alerts; and

6) utilizing other current awareness resources.

Please plan to join us.  Sign up on TWEN at the Charleston School of Law–All signup sheets.  We want to have enough handouts.
