The United States Supreme Court issued two opinions this morning: King v. Burwell and Texas Dept. of Housing & Community Affairs v. Inclusive Communities Project.
King v. Burwell, popularly known as another Obamacare case, upheld the 4th Circuit’s decision regarding the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (18 U.S.C. Section 18001.) In a 6-3 decision, the Court upheld the constitutionality and validity of the exchanges. Commentary regarding the decision can be found in the NLJ, the NYT, and the SCOTUS blog.
