South Carolina Adopts the Uniform Bar Exam

UBE-Web-Image-1 On January 21, 2016, the Supreme Court of South Carolina announced the adoption of the Uniform Bar Exam to begin in February 2017.  According to the National Conference of Bar Examiners, the Uniform Bar Exam consists of the Multistate Essay Examination (MEE), two parts of the Multistate Performance Test (MPT), and the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE).  A list of states that have adopted the UBE is available here.  South Carolina is the second southern state, after Alabama, to adopt the UBE.
