Congratulations to our Moot Court Teams!

Congratulations to our CSOL students competing in the National Tax Moot Court Competition and the National Trial Competition this past weekend.

Students Anna Boning and Tyler Gilliam won the 2016 National Tax Moot Court Competition in Florida on Saturday night.  Anna also received an award for Best Oralist.  This is the fifth straight year that CSOL students have won this particular competition.  Boning and Gilliam were coached by Professor Kristin Gutting and student coach Joe Schillizi.  Hurrah and congratulations!

Professor Todd Bruno also coached and took two teams to the regional National Trial Competition in Columbia, S.C. this past weekend.  The competition, sponsored by the Texas Young Lawyers Association, fielded two CSOL teams:  Bradon Childs, Johnny Stewart, and Patrick Yanoti and another team, Michael del Bianco, Joshua Masterson, and Andrew SmithChilds, Stewart and Yanoti made it to the final round, falling to the University of South Carolina.  Andrew Smith received one of five Outstanding Advocate awards distributed.
