Bloomberg Law and Lexis
Bloomberg Law and Lexis are allowing students full access to their databases this summer. There is no need to sign up for additional access and no limits as to how that access can be used, as long as there is some educational purpose involved.
For May graduates, Bloomberg Law passwords are also active for six months after graduation with no need to sign up for additional access.
Regular Westlaw access is limited, starting June 1 and returning to normal August 1. If you meet one of the following criteria, then you can continue your access for June and July by clicking this link and filling out the necessary information. If you do not meet one of the criteria, then you cannot extend your Westlaw access through the summer.
Students can extend their passwords for the following academic uses:
- Summer law school classes and study abroad programs
- Law Review and Journal, including write-on competitions
- Research assistant
- Moot Court
- Unpaid internship/externship
For May graduates, Westlaw access ends May 31, however you may have up to 60 hours a month of Westlaw access through November by filling out a brief survey at the following link: http://westlawhub.com/graduatesurvey/main/GraduateSurvey.aspx
