Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, introduced legislation in the Canadian Parliament this morning (4/14/2016) which would allow physician assisted suicide.  Bill C-14, introduced in the House of Commons, would allow physician assisted suicide which is in keeping with the Canadian Supreme Court’s February 2015 decision in Carter v. Canada.  The decision provoked extensive commentary.  The New York Times has an article on Mr. Trudeau and the legislation here.
